Virtual Ekiden Registration

This years Ekiden relay has sadly been cancelled due to the current situation with COVID 19. Everyone that paid for their place will receive a refund over the next few days, minus the admin charge (approximately 35p) applied to the transaction.

We have been offered the opportunity by JAFFA to take part in a virtual equivalent event and the good news about this is that we are no longer restricted on team numbers. The 26.2 mile race will be run by teams of six as a relay. Legs: 1 x 7.2km, 3 x 5km and 2 x 10km. It will need to be completed over the race weekend of the 10th to 12th of July.

There will still be Junior race which will be run by teams of 4 as a relay With each leg being an equal distance of 1.1 miles. Please ensure that children are accompanied by an adult when they run.

Mark Holland and I have decided to start from scratch with organising teams. We need this Information as soon as possible please, but before 27/05/20. Each team will need a captain who will be responsible for collating the results from their team. Mark and I will nominate a captain when putting each team together.

Please note that you can only run for one Club and you will need to be a signed up member of Kesgrave Kruisers to be part of one of our teams.

Once we know who would like to join in with this, we can allocate team places accordingly and get our entries in.
