Runner Origin Story
I had dabbled with running a few times over the decades, but it had never stuck. After my first husband died I decided to do the Great North Run in his memory, raising money for the Marie Curie hospice that had cared for him.
I discovered parkrun at around the same time, and that became my motivation to keep it going.

Best Coaching Advice
Run your easy runs very easy, and your hard runs hard!
None, I like the sound of nature
Gear Can’t Run Without
Good sports bra! And all things Tikiboo, of course
I’m hoping to complete the Threshold “Race to the…” series next year by doing Race to the King, in 1 day rather than the 2 that I’ve done for the others. So my first 100k!
